The Advent Market at Domäne Dahlem is a long-running Christmas market set on a historic manor estate dating back to 1560, located in the Dahlem locality of Steglitz-Zehlendorf district in south-west Berlin, near the Botanical Garden. Having run for over 30 years, it takes place across all four Advent weekends in the estate's historic barns, stables, and festively lit courtyards, with warming fire pits and a rural, family-friendly atmosphere that offers a country-air escape from the city. Over 50 stalls offer handmade crafts including beeswax products, candles, pottery, wooden decorations, nativity scenes, and knitwear, alongside organic mulled wine, goose leg, roasted chestnuts, hot waffles, and kale freshly harvested from the estate's own fields. Activities include tractor rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, pony rides, candle making, bauble painting, a fire show, live brass music, and museum visits. The market is directly accessible via U-Bahn U3 to Dahlem Dorf, with Bus 110, M11, and X83 also serving the site; public transport is recommended due to high demand.
