The Advent Market on Kollwitzplatz is an eco-friendly Christmas market held on all four Advent Sundays in Prenzlauer Berg, district of Pankow. Organised by Grüne Liga Berlin e.V. since 1997, it transforms the area along Wörther Straße into a cozy promenade with around 60 exhibitors, all presenting goods that meet ecological and social standards. It offers a relaxed, conscious alternative to conventional Christmas markets. Stalls feature Christmas decorations, textiles, toys, jewelry, handknitted items from organic wool, homemade jams and honey, and upcycled bags. Food and drink include crêpes, vegan waffles, pastries, Bratwurst, pizza, mulled wine, hot regional punch, and oat cocoa. Children can enjoy pony rides, face painting, storytelling, Christmas singing, and upcycling and crafting workshops. The market is reachable by U2 to Senefelderplatz, trams M2 and M10, or buses 195 and N95.
