Christmas Fair on Landsberger Allee

Dates: October 31 – December 27, 2026 (closed: Nov 23, Dec 24)

Location: Landsberger Allee 300, 13055 Berlin, Germany

The Christmas Fair on Landsberger Allee, also known as Lichtenberger Winterzeit, is one of the oldest Christmas markets with fairground rides in East Berlin, located in the Lichtenberg district. It combines a traditional Christmas market atmosphere with a lively funfair, drawing families and younger visitors with colourful lights and festively decorated stalls. Twelve large rides include a 55-metre panoramic Ferris wheel, an 85-metre chain flyer, the world's largest transportable ghost train, and children's and family rollercoasters. Father Christmas visits on St Nicholas Day and Advent Sundays, and Wednesdays are family and children's days. Food and drink options include mulled wine, waffles, barbecue specialties, crêpes, churros, roasted almonds, candied apples, and mead, among others. Prize stalls and bumper cars add to the funfair feel. The market is easily reached by tram (lines 16, M6, M8) at the nearby Arendsweg stop, or by bus (lines 256, N56) at Liebenwalder Str./Landsberger Allee.
