Christmas Garden Berlin is a ticketed evening light trail set within the Berlin Botanical Garden in Berlin-Lichterfelde (Steglitz-Zehlendorf), also commonly associated with Dahlem. The 2026 edition marks the event's 10th anniversary, featuring over 30 light installations and audiovisual artworks along an approximately 2 km illuminated circular path. Highlights include the Moonlight Meadow, the Avenue of Poetry, the Rainbow Tree, and the Great Pavilion with choreographed music and light across 3,000 m². Paths are pushchair- and wheelchair-accessible, and later evening visits are recommended for the best light effect. A Christmas village in front of the Great Tropical House offers mulled wine, Kinderpunsch, glowing cotton candy, hot chocolate, Vienna sausages, Germknödel, waffles, and other seasonal snacks. There is also a nostalgic carousel, interactive light stations, and a Christmas puzzle rally for children.
