Dates: December 19 – 20, 2026
Location: Preußenallee, 14052 Berlin-Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Germany
Christmas in Westend is a small, family-friendly neighbourhood Christmas market held on the 4th Advent weekend in the Westend area of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. The local community gathers for an event known for its charming, original character, with a signature mascot -- a cycling and talking elephant named Jochen. With over 100 exhibitors, the heart of the market is an arts and crafts mile featuring handmade ceramics, jewellery, toys, clothing, glasswork, and upcycled items, alongside winery stalls from Rheinhessen. Activities include a falconry show with free-flying birds of prey, a nativity scene with live animals, pony rides, an alpaca petting stand, and storytelling in a heated tent. Jazz-Nikoläuse perform Christmas classics live. Food and drink highlights include mulled wine, Baumstriezel, Stollen, Baumkuchen, crêpes, and freshly roasted nuts. The market is reachable by U-Bahn (U2, Neu-Westend), S-Bahn (S3, Heerstr.), and bus line 349 (Badenallee, nearest stop).
