The Christmas Market at Charlottenburg Palace is set in the gardens, main courtyard, and grounds of the baroque Charlottenburg Palace in Charlottenburg, Berlin-Charlottenburg. Widely regarded as one of Berlin's most romantic Christmas markets, it uses exclusively natural materials in its outdoor decorations for a nostalgic feel. At dusk, a light-mapping video projection show transforms the illuminated palace façade, accompanied by glittering light installations and laser beams after dark. Around 100 regional and international vendors fill wooden huts and heated pagoda tents with crafts including Advent stars, Christmas pyramids, incense smokers, nativity accessories, jewellery, ceramics, and handmade gifts. Food highlights include mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, flame-grilled salmon, venison burgers, potato pancakes, and stollen, while two on-site restaurants serve Berlin cuisine. Activities include two children's merry-go-rounds, a small Ferris wheel, strolling brass bands, and special guided tours of Hohenzollern Christmas traditions in the palace and park. Nearby bus stops include Klausenerplatz and Schloss Charlottenburg (lines 309, M45), and U-Bahn line U2 stops at Sophie-Charlotte-Platz.
