Location: Schloßplatz, 10178 Berlin, Germany
The Christmas Market at the Humboldt Forum is set on Schlossplatz in Berlin-Mitte, directly opposite Museum Island and within sight of Berlin Cathedral and the Lustgarten. Its baroque setting is brought to life with bespoke video mapping and laser light shows projected onto the Schlüterhof courtyard façades every Tuesday and Thursday, and onto the Spreeterrassen exterior later in the evening. With over 150 stalls, historic fairground rides, curling, a WinterPalace, and a daily changing programme of festive concerts and children's activities, the market offers a broad range of experiences in a striking central location. Food and drink includes mulled wine, Feuerzangenbowle, bratwurst, roasted almonds, Kaiserschmarrn, Poffertjes, Nepali dumplings, hot chocolate, and a champagne bar. Craft stalls feature potters, glassblowers, wooden toys, jewellery, leather goods, and Christmas decorations. The market is reachable by U5 to Museumsinsel, bus lines 100, 300, 147, and N5, or trams M4, M5, and M6 to Spandauer Str./St Mary's Church.
