The Christmas market at Winterquartier Berlin is set in the Napoleon Komplex, a former industrial complex in Friedrichshain, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. It combines traditional Christmas market romance with Berlin's industrial culture, featuring decorated wooden huts, festive lighting, a large Christmas tree, fire bowls, and almost entirely covered seating areas. The market blends classic festive elements with a modern, city-cultural concept, making it suitable for families, groups of friends, and corporate events. Highlights include an approximately 1,000 m² indoor ice rink with skate hire and penguin skating aids, ice disco on Fridays and Saturdays, seven Bavarian curling rinks, and a children's Christmas show on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays from 5 to 6 pm. A cultural programme of live music, fire shows, theatre, and family days rounds out the offering, alongside handmade crafts, Christmas decorations, roasted almonds, chestnuts, mulled wine in several variants, and Kinderpunsch. The market is reachable on foot in around seven minutes from Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station.
