Dates: November 23 – December 26, 2026
Location: Alexanderplatz, 10178 Berlin, Germany
The Christmas Market on Alexanderplatz is one of Berlin's busiest and most centrally located Christmas markets, set in the Mitte district on Alexanderplatz beneath the iconic TV Tower (Fernsehturm) and World Clock. It blends a traditional market, a funfair, and a party venue, with festively illuminated wooden stalls transforming the square into a winter village. Visitors can browse around 50 to 100 stalls offering traditional handicrafts, jewellery, glassware, Christmas bakery items, and gifts. Food and drink include mulled wine, grilled sausages, Thuringian bratwurst, roasted almonds, chestnuts, and punch. Activities include a roller-skating rink with beginner courses and roller disco nights, a Ferris wheel, antique-style children's carousels, weekend tower brass band performances, and evening DJ sets at Bergmann's Partyhaus vom Nikolaus. The market is directly accessible via S+U Alexanderplatz (S3, S5, S7, S9, U2, U5, U8), as well as tram and bus lines.
