Finnish Advent Bazaar

Dates: November 14 – 15, 2026

Location: Marheinekeplatz 1, 10961 Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Germany

The Finnish Advent Bazaar (Finnischer Weihnachtsmarkt) is a two-day Nordic Christmas market held in Kreuzberg's Bergmannkiez, making it one of the first Advent markets of the season in Berlin. It takes place inside the Passionskirche and in the courtyard of the adjacent Finland Center, creating a cosy, homely, and family-friendly atmosphere with a genuine Finnish character. Visitors can enjoy traditional Finnish food including glögi (mulled wine), flame-grilled salmon (Loimulohi), reindeer sausage, salmon soup, and home-baked cookies. Stalls offer hand-knitted socks, gloves, and hats, Nordic handicrafts, Finnish design products, and a tombola. The nearest U-Bahn stop is Gneisenaustraße (U7, about 0.2 km), and bus line 248 stops directly at Marheinekeplatz. Public transport is strongly recommended as parking is limited.
