The LGBTIQA Winterdays and Christmas Avenue is Berlin's queer Christmas market, set in Schöneberg, Tempelhof-Schöneberg, in the heart of the city's historic Regenbogenkiez (Rainbow Quarter) at Nollendorfplatz. Sheltered beneath the elevated U-Bahn viaduct, the market offers a safe and inclusive space celebrating diversity, openness and tolerance. Originating in Cologne, it came to Berlin in 2019 and runs in two phases: the Winterdays focus on community organisations, NGOs and advocacy, followed by Christmas Avenue with a full festive market experience. Colourful lights and a lively atmosphere set the tone throughout. Visitors can browse stalls offering handmade decorative items, jewellery, arts and crafts, and fashion accessories, alongside mulled wine, hot cocktails, Hot Aperol and apple punch. Each evening from 7:00 PM, a stage programme features drag shows, drag bingo, karaoke, and DJ sets from Berlin's LGBTQIA+ club scene. The market is directly at U-Bahnhof Nollendorfplatz, served by U1, U2, U3 and U4.
