Lucia Christmas Market at Kulturbrauerei

Dates: November 23 – December 22, 2026

Location: Kulturbrauerei, Schönhauser Allee, Berlin-Pankow, Germany

The Lucia Christmas Market at Kulturbrauerei is a Nordic-themed Christmas market set within the historic red-brick courtyard buildings of the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin (district of Pankow). With more than 25 years of history, it is wholly dedicated to Scandinavian folklore and tradition, spread across two large courtyards where thousands of lights illuminate the characteristic red and white wooden stalls each evening. The annual Luciafest procession on 13 December, led by the Luciakör choir with an Allsång sing-along, is a centrepiece, alongside a nightly strolling angel and free Thursday choir performances. Food highlights include Swedish Glögg, elk goulash, elk sausage, reindeer salami, Kanelbullar, Finnish waffles, and salmon potato soup. Activities include a nostalgic carousel, a knight's castle with crossbow shooting, Santa visits, children's craft workshops, a heated yurt, and a wish letter box. Crafts range from Latvian handmade textiles and wooden toys to Mongolian wool products and artisan jewellery. The market is easily reached by U-Bahn (U2 Eberswalder Straße), tram lines 12, M1, and M10, or S-Bahn at Schönhauser Allee; public transport is recommended.
