Location: Landhausstraße 26-28, 10717 Berlin-Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Germany
The Swedish Christmas Bazaar is a small, cosy outdoor market held in the courtyard of the Swedish Victoria Parish church in the tranquil district of Wilmersdorf, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Taking place over the first Advent weekend only, it has a warm, intimate atmosphere with a strong Scandinavian community feel. A highlight on both days is the visit of St. Lucia, the Swedish Queen of Light, accompanied by a choir. Stalls offer a range of Swedish and Norwegian goods including Dala horses, Jultomte and Julbock figurines, wooden Christmas decorations, knitwear, textiles, and books. Traditional food includes glögg, elk sausage, cinnamon buns, salmon, and princess cake. A lift is available to access the market, though dogs are not permitted. The nearest U-Bahn station is Berliner Straße (U7, U9), also served by buses 143 and M43.
